“Advanced Bystander Assistance"
Learn how to be a side by side assistant to the EMS by enhancing what is learned in "A Crash Course for the Motorcyclist". Students are taught how to be a leader at a scene. Advanced airway, common roadway medical concerns, assisting the EMS with extrication, femoral traction, role play, critical incident stress, lifting a bike lab, and PACT/ABCSS of Trauma are all addressed & practiced. 6.0 CEHs available to EMS
IT-Instructor-Led ASM Advanced 300 series class. Lead Instructor: Jose Archila, Captain (Paramedic) and assisting instructor: Jeff Boulay. Facility: Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall. This class is CLOSED to the general public and available for Leominster HOG Chapter #1870 and invited guests only. Cost is $80 per student and includes all course materials, a patch, and a certificate and lunch. Prerequisite: Must have completed basic class within the last 2 calendar years [2022 or 2023].
