Julie is a Principal at Madrona Venture Group, a Seattle-based venture capital firm. At Madrona, Julie leads new investments and is a board observer for several portfolio companies. Prior to Madrona, Julie was a senior product manager on the Amazon Kindle team, and held product roles at TeachStreet.com, and at Microsoft (through her tenure at Accenture). Julie is adjunct faculty at the University of Washington where she teaches a course on entrepreneurship at the business school. Julie holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
