Who should attend Digital Book World 2014?

Digital Book World 2014 is for all professionals in the book publishing supply chain, including senior management, strategists, editors, marketers, sales reps, IT and vendor and trading partners. Digital Book World is also the first digital forum to include programming aimed squarely at agents.

Can I register on-site at Digital Book World 2014?

Yes, on-site registrations will be accepted, unless Digital Book World 2014 sells out.  Some sessions and workshops may sell out in advance; register as early as possible for your first pick of all Digital Book World events.

Do I have to choose my sessions when I register?

Yes. This not only speeds up the registration process but also helps ensure you'll get into the sessions you want, should a session sell out. Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing instructions to modify your agenda if you wish.

What registration options do I have, and what does each include?

Attendees can choose from several full-Conference registration options. Several optional items are also available for an additional fee.  You'll find complete registration details here and more on optional events here.

Can I get a receipt/invoice for my registration?

If you register online and pay by credit card, you will be presented with a printable receipt at the end of the registration process (the screen that appears after you click the Make Payment button). You can also click on the Receipt/Invoice button at the bottom of your confirmation email to print your receipt at any time. If you register via postal mail or fax, you will receive your confirmation email once your registration has been processed.

Is the Group rate a per-person cost, or is that for the whole group?

The Group rate is a per-person registration cost for groups of 11-20 attendees. To qualify, all attendees must be from the same company, and must register at the same time. It is possible for a single person to register all members of the group online at the same time and pay for the entire group with a single transaction. However, please note that each member’s agenda must also be selected at the time of registration; therefore advance preparation should be considered.

What is the difference between Group and Super Group registration rates?

The Group rate is for groups of 11-20 attendees, while the Super Group rate is reserved for groups of more than 20.

Can I make my hotel reservation when I register?

No, but you can make your reservations via Web, phone or fax. You'll find complete information on the travel page. Please be sure to make your reservations early, as our room blocks fill quickly.

When is the Early-Bird registration deadline?

The Early-Bird registration deadline is September 30, 2013. Regular registration rates become effective at 3:01 AM Eastern Time (12:01 AM Pacific Time) on October 1, 2013.

How do I use a discount code I've received to save on registration?

You are welcome to use a discount code if you've received one. To do so, enter the code on the first page of the registration process, just under your email address. The site will automatically calculate your registration fees and display the discounted rate on the next registration page.
 
If you are faxing or mailing your registration, please be sure to include the discount code.

How do I receive the student registration rate?

To qualify for the student rate, you must submit a copy of your student ID, proof of 12 current credit hours, and a paid receipt for the current semester/term.  If you register online, you can upload those while you register. Alternatively, please scan and email these documents to digitalbookworld@fwmedia.com.

What is your Federal Tax ID number?

Our Federal Tax ID is 20-2955953. We are F+W Media, Inc. Please contact us for a current W-9.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you must cancel for any reason, please notify us via email at digitalbookworld@fwmedia.com no later than December 23, 2013. Your registration fee will be refunded less a $250 processing fee per person. No refunds will be made after this date for any reason. Substitutions may be made by email until January 3, 2014. After this date, all registration changes and substitutions must be made on-site.

Cancellations for Digital Book Awards Tickets can be made up until January 7, 2014 for a full refund.  Refunds will not be issued after this date for any reason.
