Communication between spacecraft and scientists on Earth is fundamental to Artemis Missions and involves many considerations that are unique to transmission and reception of signals across large distances.

In this webinar, we will explore networks – an interconnection of transmitters and receivers that makes communication possible. We will learn how to solve network problems using minimum spanning tree and determine the shortest route to each destination in a network. This activity includes a fun scavenger hunt to teach network characteristics and analytical problem solving. It covers NGSS Science and Engineering Practices, Common Core (CCSS.MATH.Content.6.EE.B.6), Computer Science, and Technology standards. We will also explore how to make these resources more culturally responsive. Join us for this free webinar!
