ASM 300 Series Advanced Class

“Advanced Bystander Assistance"

Learn how to be a side by side assistant to the EMS by enhancing what is learned in "A Crash Course for the Motorcyclist". Students are taught how to be a leader at a scene. Advanced airway, common roadway medical concerns, assisting the EMS with extrication, femoral traction, role play, critical incident stress, lifting a bike lab, and PACT/ABCSS of Trauma are all addressed & practiced. 6.0 CEs

Instructor-Led ASM Advanced 300 series class. Lead Instructor: TJ Oman, EMT. Location: Tess Corners Fire Department Station 2. Hosted by HGEI, American Legion Riders, VFW Riders, CVMA. This class is open to the general public. This class is $100/student. There will be a veterans discount of $15, please contact TJ for your discount code. Cost includes all course materials, a patch, and a certificate. This is the second of a two-day set of classes, ASM BASIC on Saturday and ASM ADVANCED on Sunday. If you intend to take the full series (BASIC + ADVANCED) you must register and pay for each session separately. If you have completed ASM BASIC within the last two years, you need only to register and complete the ASM ADVANCED class on Sunday to receive your ASM ADVANCED rating.
