Program

Please join us for a free virtual program to support our patient’s caregivers and loved ones. The role of caregiver can often come about unexpectedly and caregivers can be overlooked. A caregiver plays a particularly important role when the patient requires a transplant and caring for a transplant patient is physically challenging and emotionally draining.

This program will aim to help support caregivers by identifying the challenges caregivers can face and how to cope with them. Topics will include caring for the caregiver and important self-care strategies, communicating as a caregiver, transitioning out of the caregiver role, and more. Caregiver support resources will be shared, as well as services offered by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
