NASA EPDC Virtual Learning Opportunities: Digital Badges for Educators and Students

The NASA Educator Professional Development Collaborative at
Texas State University is providing a 1-hour webinar.
 
Participants will receive an overview of the EPDC virtual learning opportunities that are available to educators and students.  We will take a walk through the EPDC website to discover the resources available to assist educators with their STEM instruction and students with their continuous STEM learning. A detailed overview of the educator and student digital badging systems will be shared to include, account creation, exploration of current digital badges and student communities.  
 

Michelle Berry serves as a NASA STEM Education Specialist at Texas State University. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and a Master of Education with a Major in Educational Administration from Texas State University. Her most recent experience includes managing and coordinating the NASA MUREP Educator Institutes and the state-wide Mathematics Faculty Collaborative for the Texas College and Career Readiness Initiative (CCRI). Prior to these positions she was a Mentor Teacher in both the Teacher Recruitment Induction Program and Novice Teacher Induction Program at Texas State University. She also has 11 years of teaching experience in kindergarten, 3rd  and 4th grades from San Marcos Consolidated ISD and Round Rock ISD.
