Program

African Americans have roughly twice the incidence of myeloma as white Americans, with recent studies finding that they are also less likely to receive the latest myeloma treatments or combination therapies, and more likely to encounter delays in receiving treatment, including transplants.

This is a free educational event for patients and families affected by multiple myeloma. Dr. Faiman will discuss the basics of myeloma including symptoms of myeloma, how myeloma progresses, and current and emerging therapies for treating myeloma including the role of clinical trials.

We encourage you to invite your caregiver and family members.
