Facebook Competition Terms and Conditions:
1. These terms and conditions are deemed to incorporate all instructions of how to take part as set out in the Prize Draw details and the “all you have to do” sections. No purchase necessary. The Prize Draw shall be void where prohibited by local law.
2. The prize shall consist of a two-day delegate pass for one person to attend the FT Digital Media Conference on 25-26th April 2013 (the “Prize”). Two winners will be selected. Winners are responsible for their own visas, travel, accommodation and insurance and any other costs associated with attending the Conference.
3. To enter the Prize Draw, simply enter your details into the FT Digital Media Conference micro-site prize draw page and submit. By entering into this Prize Draw you agree to the terms and conditions stated herein and acknowledge that failure to comply with them may result in disqualification.
4. This Prize Draw is only available to individuals who are over 21 years of age, excluding directors and employees of The Financial Times Ltd (“FT”), their associated companies, agencies and immediate family. Individuals who have already paid to attend the FT Digital Media Conference may enter the Prize Draw and if they win, any payment already made to the FT will be refunded to them within a reasonable period.
5. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple or incomplete entries will be deemed to be invalid.
6. The winners of the Prize will be the first two individuals whose names are drawn at random from the valid entries received. The prize draw will take place on 12th April 2013. The FT will notify those persons selected by 15th April 2013 and the winners will be required to confirm acceptance of their prize on 19th April 2013. If a prize is declined or unclaimed by the acceptance date, or if a winner cannot reasonably be contacted from the details supplied, a supplementary winner may be drawn at FT’s discretion and will be notified by email or phone. The original entry that was drawn will then be forfeited. The winners may be required to complete and return a form by fax to confirm their eligibility (eg proof of age and/or proof of residency).
7. The names of the winners will be displayed on the FT Digital Media Conference micro-site prize draw page and FT Live Facebook page on 19th April 2013. The names will also be available after 22nd April 2013 upon receipt of a SAE to: Promotions, The Financial Times Ltd, Number One Southwark Bridge, London SE1 9HL.
8. By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to take part in any publicity relating to the Prize Draw if you are invited to do so and without further compensation. You consent to the FT's use of your name, likeness, picture, voice, opinions, biographical information and state of residence for promotional, publicity or advertising purposes worldwide in any media and on the World Wide Web, in perpetuity, without further payment, consideration, review or consent (where allowable).
9. No cash equivalent is available and the Prize is non-transferable. The FT reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this offer as required by circumstances or to substitute the Prizes being offered with equal or greater value.
10. The result of the Prize Draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
