IPWEA (NSW) Professional Development Workshop: Road Safety Audits - Sydney 9 & 10 July 2019

The objective of this course is to explain the purpose and procedures followed in Road Safety Audits.
The workshop works through the AustRoads Guidelines and discusses case studies of Audits already undertaken.
The Guidelines provide practitioners and decision makers with ways to formally address road safety issues before accidents occur. They are based on the latest information available and incorporate the combined experience of State road authorities throughout Australia, local government and Transit National.
The following are position titles that will find this course of interest; Design Engineers, Construction Engineers, NSW Police, Maintenance Engineers, Consultants, RMS personnel, Road Safety Officers and any local government engineers and practitioners involved in the design, construction and maintenance of roads
RSA REFRESHER & REGISTRATION RENEWAL COURSE TIMES: Day 1 of the two day workshop acts as the Road Safety Audit Refresher & Registration Renewal Course. Registration renewal requires the successful completion of a recognised road safety audit refresher program every two years.
You only need to attend and pass Day 1 of the two day RSA workshop to re-qualify.
Select “One Day Refresher Registration” when choosing your payment options if only attending Day 1 of the workshop.

TIMES: Please register at the Workshop by 8.45 am on Day 1. The program will commence promptly at 9.00 am and finishes at 5.00pm on Day 1. Day 2 begins at 9.00am and finishes at 4.00pm. Morning and afternoon teas and lunch provided on both days.
CAR PARKING: Paid parking is available at the Capitol Carpark parking station in Campbell Street (near the corner of George Street); however the venue is within walking distance of Central railway station.
ACCOMMODATION: Overnight accommodation is not provided for Delegates. You will need to organize your own accommodation if required. Accommodation is available at the venue (Note: There are two Metro Hotels in Pitt Street - this is the Metro Hotel Sydney Central Marlow not the Metro Hotel on Pitt).
