Our lead Sprunt Lecturer this year is Dr. John J. Collins, Holmes Professor of Old Testament at Yale Divinity School, who will speak on the theme: What Are Biblical Values?, addressing topics and some biblical understandings on right to life, gender, the environment, and social justice. 

The invited preacher for Sprunts is Dr. Lance Watson (M.A. ’86), Senior Pastor of the Saint Paul’s Baptist Church, Richmond.  Leading worship with Dr. Watson is the Rev. Anna George Traynham (M.Div. ’14), Associate Pastor, Central Presbyterian, Atlanta.  Speaking for the Alumni Luncheon is Dr. Lewis Galloway (D.Min. ’77, Th.M. ’79). His topic: “In Such a Time as This”.
