Dr. Brown currently serves as CEO of the Physician Enterprise for Piedmont Healthcare. Prior to that, he served as Chief of Cardiovascular Services for Piedmont Heart Institute. Piedmont Heart is now recognized as one of the most prominent heart institutes in the country and is a national model for physician-hospital integration. Dr. Brown is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, and interventional cardiology. He has participated in numerous research studies, authored and co-authored numerous medical publications and continues to contribute articles to the medical literature.

Michele Johnson, M.D.

Dr. Johnson is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon at Atlanta Brain and Spine Care and one of the most sought-after women in spine surgery. She is chairman of the neuroscience department at Piedmont Hospital. Dr. Johnson specializes in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery through small incisions and is an expert in spinal tumors. Dr. Johnson graduated with honors from Yale University Medical School and completed her neurosurgery residency and fellowship at Emory University. She started her career at the University of Texas (UT).

Paul H. Keckley, Ph.D.

Dr. Keckley is Managing Editor of The Keckley Report, a weekly blog covering health industry trends and issues, a healthcare futurist, investor and entrepreneur. Paul brings extensive healthcare industry experience having worked in the private sector, academic medicine and as an investor. He has authored three books and more than 300 articles and served as the facilitator between the White House Office of Health Reform and major health industry trade associations as private sector input was sought in the passage of the Affordable Care Act. He is a columnist for Hospitals and Health Networks and a frequent contributor to media coverage of health industry trends in Fox News, CNN, Wall Street Journal, New York Times and others. He holds a B.S. from Lipscomb University, Nashville TN, an M.A. and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University, Columbus OH and did a graduate fellowship at Oxford University, UK.

Christopher Lloyd

Christopher Lloyd joined Piedmont Healthcare in 2017 as President of the Piedmont Clinic. He is responsible for managing more than 1,900 clinically integrated physicians, Accountable Care Organization (ACO) growth, value-based growth, and clinical governance development. Chris comes from the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in Houston, where he has worked since 2004 and served most recently as CEO for the Memorial Hermann Physician Network and its ACO. Chris has more than 25 years of executive experience in acute healthcare settings, including community hospitals, academic medical center and physician group management. In addition, Chris has an entrepreneurial spirit, having participated in the initial forming stages of and as an initial investor and board member.

Katie Logan

Serving as vice president of Patient Experience for Piedmont Healthcare, Katie is responsible for the development and execution of Piedmont's experience strategy. She leads the practices and innovations that emphasize the consistent delivery of patient centered care, while transforming access, choice and overall experience. Previously, Katie served as Piedmont’s VP for Marketing and Physician Outreach, leading marketing strategy and physician relation efforts. Joining in 2009, Katie supported the cardiovascular service line and physician enterprise as the VP of Strategy and Professional Services leading business development, planning and project management. Prior to joining Piedmont, Katie was a management consultant with KPMG.

Moiz Master, M.D.

Dr. Master has worked in Internal Medicine for the past 26 years. After completing his residency and serving as chief resident at the University of Connecticut, Dr. Master worked in Alabama at a Federally Qualified Health Center for four years treating underserved and under-insured patients. In 2004, Dr. Master moved to Atlanta and started MasterCare Medical Center, a NCQA Level 3 Certified Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), in Jasper, where he continues to practice today. Dr. Master has held numerous leadership roles within the Piedmont Clinic, most recently serving as a Medical Director for the past 3 years. He has also been involved with the Piedmont Clinic Quality Sub-Committee and serves on the MSSP ACO Board. In these roles, he has helped to formulate and run the Piedmont Clinic Quality and PIP programs. In addition, Dr. Master is the Chief Medical Officer at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.

Patrick Railey, M.D.
The Future is Value: The Importance of Primary Care in an Integrated Delivery System

Dr. Railey has worked in Family Practice for the past 20 years, serving the residents of Coweta County in southern metro Atlanta. As a member of the Piedmont Clinic, his administrative role began serving as Chair of the Coweta CPC. He has since taken on the role of Board Chair of the Medicare Shared Savings Program, facilitating interest and growth in value-based medicine and risk arrangements. Working in the Primary Care Clinical Governance Council has allowed him to work in the arenas of population medicine and value-based contracting. He also serves as the Regional Medical Director for Piedmont Physicians Group on the south side of the city.
