Nele Leosk is the Program Director of e-Governance Academy Foundation (eGA), a think tank on the creation and transfer of knowledge on e-governance and e-democracy. Nele leads the Academy’s ICT in education program and has been in charge of initiating national schools’ computerization programs in many countries, including Georgia, Moldova, Albania, Haiti, Macedonia, and Palestinian NA. Her areas of expertise and research also include e-democracy and e-participation. She has been advising various governments on e-governance and e-democracy and she was a program chair for e-governance conference ICEGOV in 2011 that brought together representatives from more than 60 countries. She is an editor of monthly e-democracy newsletter and doing her PhD in political science at European University Institute.
