Dieter Wurche has a record of almost 30 years of public service in the German Military Police and with German Customs and Customs Investigations. After many years as a Customs criminal investigator in southern Germany, Dieter served as a Technical Attache in the Compliance and Facilitation Directorate at the WCO Secretariat, followed by a secondment as national expert and analyst to the Regional Intelligence Liaison Office for Western Europe. Currently he is being prepared by the Zollkriminalamt to become the next German Customs Liaison Officer for the Baltic States, scheduled to start his new assignment in September 2012.
