Bio

Andrew Watson has overall responsibility for OMG's technology adoption process. He also chairs the organisation's Architecture Board, the group of distinguished technical contributors from member companies which oversees the technical consistency of OMG's specifications.

Before joining OMG, Mr Watson's varied career in Information Technology included researching the technology of distributed system, writing language compilers and helping improve software engineering practices at large multi-national companies. He spends his spare time skiing down, gliding around or walking up mountains.
