Client / Supplier Workshop (CSW) - Information for International Association Representatives
This workshop brings together high level professionals and senior personnel of ICCA member companies that are dedicated to handling business events. The regional workshop will have a wide attendance of members that are suitable to handle events like yours. We believe this will be an invaluable two-way exchange and that you will gain benefits by exchanging professional experiences with your peers and meetings with professionals from the industry.

What is ICCA
ICCA -the International Congress and Convention Association- is the global community and knowledge hub for the international association meetings industry. ICCA represents the main specialists in organising, transporting, and accommodating international meetings and events, and comprises over 1,000 member companies and organisations in almost 100 countries worldwide. ICCA specialises in the international association meetings sector, offering unrivalled data, communication channels, and business development opportunities.

The event commences with a team building trip (optional) to the unique costarican rainforest (Aug 20th) followed by an excellent educational opportunity that ICCA offers as a tailor-made seminar, for Associations only, for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and experiences (Aug 21st), the educational day ends with our welcome reception.  After the seminar the first part of the CSW will iniciate, a format (B2B - speed dating) where you will be able to present your association and meet up to 30 ICCA members from Latin America and the Caribbean region, get acquainted with them, their services and the destinations they work in (Aug 22nd). The final rounds of our CSW will take place on Aug 23rd, followed by a farewell dinner, all in a relaxed but professional atmosphere, will also include city tours, site inspections and lots of networking opportunities. All activities will be held in Spanish.

Senior staff (holding the President, Secretary General, Executive Director or Permanent Secretary position at the International Organization) from permanent regional associations responsible for running events with a minimum of 250 up to 4000 participants with a rotation pattern in the Latin American, Pan-American and Ibero-American regions. This meeting must be included as part of the ICCA database and have a frequency not higher than 3 years (events organized on annual, biannual or triannual basis).

Flights, transfers in & out, 5 nights (single room) accommodation at the Intercontinental Hotel in San José and all meals in the programme are fully hosted for association executives.

Registration for Associations representatives is free of charge and ICCA will cover your travel and accommodation expenses for the duration of the event.
