CONGRESS OVERVIEW 

The Cord Blood Connect international congress embraces all components of the cord blood community - public and private banking, clinical and laboratory investigations, manufacturing, administration, education and training. 

It brings together the many people and organizations worldwide engaged in, or served by, cord blood and perinatal tissue banking and the development of associated therapeutics. 

MULTIPLE TRACKS: The congress will have plenary sessions, concurrent scientific and educational sessions, and smaller workshops. Fourteen nonprofit organizations in the cord blood field are collaborating with the Cord Blood Association to create an unparalleled educational experience.

The Medical College of Wisconsin is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education to physicians. The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this live activity for a maximum of 15.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Allied Health Professionals

The Medical College of Wisconsin designates this activity for up to 15.0 hours of participation for continuing education for allied health professionals attending the Cord Blood Connect international congress.

Clinical Laboratory Personnel

This continuing medical laboratory education activity is recognized by the American Society for Clinical Pathology as meeting the criteria for a maximum of 15.0 CMLE credit. CMLE credits are acceptable to meet the continuing education requirements for the ASCP Board of Registry Certification Maintenance Program.

Florida Clinical Laboratory Personnel

CE Broker is approved by the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel as a provider of continuing education programs for Florida-licensed clinical laboratory personnel. This event has been approved for a maximum of 15.0 contact hours.

Certificate of Participation

General attendees for whom continuing education credits do not apply may receive a certificate of participation.
