He is the founder of Designism, an annual symposium for young creative people in New York City focusing on the emerging role of social activism in design and advertising.

Over his career, Brian has won every major design and creative award. Last year, COLLINS: was awarded Gold from The One Show, The Clios, the 4A’s Gold for Strategic Excellence and a Cannes Silver Lion. The firm’s work will be featured in the upcoming exhibit “We The Designers: Reframing Political Issues in the Obama Era” at The National Press Club in Washington, DC.

Brian is Vice President of The Art Directors Club of New York and has been on the graduate faculty of the School of Visual Arts since 2001. Brian was made a Distinguished Alumna of the Massachusetts College of Art in 2o04 and received an Honorary Doctorate from the Art Center College of Design in 2008.

He speaks globally on design and innovation including at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and is a member of the Forum’s Global Agenda Council.

With a background in product design, he holds a Masters and a Ph.D. in ergonomics and biomechanics. In fact, Dan began his career as a member of the design team that developed IBM’s first personal computer and his work on OXO Good Grips kitchen tools helped make them a symbol of products designed to work for everyone. Dan is a frequent lecturer and writer on design methods and the physical and emotional aspects of design; he’s also the co-author and illustrator of the bestselling book Baseball Field Guide, employing principles of information design to explain the intricate rules of Major League Baseball.

As head of Continuum’s Sustainable Innovation community, Kristin brings a mix of practical and creative experience to her team.  She recently received an IDEA Gold award for Colorblind, a research initiative which uncovered consumers’ true feelings and real behaviors around environmental sustainability.

Prior to joining Continuum, Kristin created rapid manufacturing applications for 3D printers as an engineer at Z Corporation.  She holds a Master’s in Industrial Design from the University of the Arts and a B.A. in Engineering Sciences and Studio Art from Dartmouth College.

Prior to CBX, Brennan was SVP, Strategy at DePersico Group in Philadelphia, where he advised on strategic design approaches for consumer packaged goods companies such as Abbott Nutrition, Florida’s Natural and Unilever. Previously, Brennan managed the client service team at the premier creative printing solutions company Inwork Inc., which he credits with giving him an eye for details and a passion for innovation. Brennan received a BA as well as a Masters in Marketing from Bentley University, where he was a full scholarship athlete. Since ending his collegiate athletic career, Brennan continues to participate in all things active (you name it!), including marathon running.

As the leader of Continuum’s Strategy Group and Next Community, Heather works with a multidisciplinary group of experts to identify broad global trends to envision future experiences. Her perspective is inspired by her project work, which takes her from Lansing to Lima to talk to people and understand what is most important to them. She uses their stories along with business and technological considerations to inspire new experiences that help clients win.

As a Principal at Continuum, Heather partners with organizations such as Procter & Gamble, Ford, Staples, and American Express to identify opportunities for new category creation. Her superpower is creatively working within constraints to have actionable ideas­–and then visualizing ideas in engaging ways that inspire clients to align on a common goal. Heather also focuses on projects that inspire organizational change by working with leaders to create processes for breakthrough innovation.

Heather is a graduate of Syracuse University, with a BID in Industrial Design and a focus on visual storytelling.
