Director General of Customs


         Dato’ Sri Hj Mohamed Khalid bin Yusuf, The Director General of Customs, Malaysia was appointed as the DG of Customs on October 2010. He was formerly the Deputy Director General of Customs (Enforcement/ Compliance) and also State Customs Director of Sarawak. He also served various other divisions at the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) Headquarters level as well as regional divisions at the regional level. He possessed vast experience of international Customs matters as well as regional Customs matters as he was directly involved in the WCO Policy Commission Meeting, ASEAN DG Meeting, ASEAN CCC Meeting, chairing and co-chairing various bilateral meeting between Malaysia and ASEAN Member countries such as Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia and Singapore to name a few. Through his vast experience and networking, he has successfully steered RMCD to new heights and continuously striving towards excellence in order to achieve RMCD’s vision to be a world class Customs administration by the year 2015.
