Bio

         Denny Qu is a China Customs Committee member of the Conference of Asia Pacific Express Carriers (CAPEC).  CAPEC represents the interests of the express delivery services industry in the Asia Pacific and engages governments, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders based on genuine dialogue, relevance and authenticity leading to credibility and trust, to positively shape the public policy debate and outcome.  Our core objectives are: (1) to develop a conducive business and regulatory environment for the express delivery services industry; and (2) to facilitate trade expansion and economic growth in the region.

 

         Denny Qu (denny.qu@tnt.com) has many years of working experience in logistic industry. He has expertise in supply chain management, air and ocean transportation, international express and warehouse management. He has been working in management position for more than 10 years in China, Greater China and North Asia region.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

 

         As Operations Director of TNT International Express, Greater China, Denny Qu is in charge of operations in 41 warehouses, 6 international gateways & hubs, and the Asia Road Network business in Greater China. He builds the operations development strategy for TNT International Express, Greater China, sets operational goals, and leads people to achieve them. He oversees operations process improvement in leading many black-belt projects, and manages the cost efficiency to help TNT International Express, Greater China to achieve business targets.

 

         Before joining TNT, Denny Qu was Senior Manager of Product Development in Maersk Logistics, North Asia. He was responsible for logistic and supply chain industry study and new product development.  He also worked for UPS and Japan Airlines in his previous career.
