Tel Aviv Travel Information

1. Public Transport from Ben-Gurion International Airport to the David InterContinental Hotel, Tel Aviv: The airport is located 25 kilometers from David InterContinental, Tel Aviv, Kaufmann St 12, Tel Aviv-Yafo, 61501.
 
  • Taxis: Taxis are located at the airport at ground level (G), near gate 03. Please find more useful information at: Israel Airports Ben Gurion Transportation Taxis.*
     

    *Please note that there is a fixed price for a taxi ride from the airport to any  destination within Tel Aviv. The cost is 150 NIS payment is CASH ONLY. Please make sure to ask the driver for a ride with the fixed price and not a counter (meter). This fixed price includes luggage.

  • Buses from Tel Aviv-Savidor Cente train station to David InterContinental hotel: Buses No. 61, 62, 72, 82 (Den Public Transportation) - stops at Carmelit St, Tel Aviv-Yafo Station. Walking route from Carmeilt St. Station to David InterContinental hotel. Bus No. 10 ( Den Public Transportation) stops at Kaufmann St. 6, Tel Aviv-Yafo. Walking route from 6 Kaufmann St. to David InterContinental Hotel. 
     
  • Trains: Trains run from Ben-Gurion Airport to Tel Aviv-Savidor Center stations. The train operates every hour, 24 hours a day from Sunday to Thursday. On Friday, the last train departs from the airport at 03:00 PM. Service resumes Sunday from 05:30 every hour. Details are available by phone: +972(0)36117000 or at the Israel Railways Website. The airport’s train station is located on Level S of the Landside Building, adjacent to the Greeters' Hall of Ben-Gurion Airport.
     
  • Buses: Egged operates a bus line from the airport to Ben Gurion Airport EL Al Junction - Bus No. 5 or Bus No. 13 of KAVIM. from Ben Gurion Airport EL Al Junction to Tel Aviv Central Bus Station - Bus No. 475. From Tel Aviv Central Bus Station Bus No. 30 stops at Kaufmann St., Bus No. 16 stops at Carmelit St.

2. Weather: In December, it is winter time in Israel, with temperatures in Tel Aviv averaging 11-19 Centigrade = 52-66 Fahrenheit.
