Law Society of Scotland Brexit seminar on employment rights

We would like to invite you to the third in our series of Brexit-themed seminars where leading authorities from the legal profession, academic community and policy arena will analyse the UK’s withdrawal from the EU.

Combining keynote speeches and roundtable discussions, this seminar will cover the topic of employment rights issues post-Brexit. There will also be the opportunity for a Q&A with our expert speakers.

The seminar will take place on Thursday 18 May, from 5.30pm for 6- 8.30pm at the Law Society of Scotland’s offices at Atria One, 144 Morrison Street, Edinburgh, EH3 8EX. If you are unable to attend in person there is also the opportunity to live stream the presentations and questions section as a webinar.

The panel of speakers will be comprised of: Alan Delaney, Director at Maclay Murray & Spens LLP and an accredited specialist in employment law; David Cabrelli, Senior Lecturer in Commercial Law at the University of Edinburgh; and Peter Hunter, Regional Manager, Unison Scotland.

Please note that this seminar must be paid for in advance and we may be unable to admit delegates who have not pre-registered if the event is at full capacity. If registration has closed, please contact us directly as there may be further spaces due to cancellations.
