There's something I need to tell you... Why kids disclose bullying to informal supporters and adults at school.

Description
Disclosing bullying is an important first step for getting help. However, as many as one in three children who are bullied do not disclose to anyone, and those who do are more likely to disclose to informal supporters, such as siblings or friends, than to an adult at school. This study identified student characteristics, aspects of bullying, and elements of the school environment that promote disclosure to both informal supporters and adults at school.
