From Uber to Palantir, the tech world is known for being a bubble oblivious to social problems. This panel will tackle approaches to creating social impact with technology, from eliminating social stigma of 'civic technology' to merging product paradigms from tech startups and philanthropic work. Moreover, we will discuss how interested college students can build careers that combine the two industries to create meaningful social impact using rigorous technological solutions.
