Bio
Dale has 39 years of Customer Service experience at KUB and has been in his current role as Manager of Customer Service since May of 2011. He started at the utility reading meters while in college at UT. Next, Dale worked as an "on-off" service tech which at the time included collecting from delinquent customers, which was an other worldly experience. In 1994, he had the opportunity to work on several "process improvement" efforts for KUB in billing, payment processing , the call center and credit and collections.. which has been the basis of his current role. Through his efforts to improve the "credit & collections" process in the mid 90's, Dale started working with low income customers who had difficulty paying their utility bills which, over time, brought him to the current collaborative process within the Knoxville community.
