Laura is recognised as a leading lawyer in the field of health and safety. She is the Chair of the Health and Safety Lawyers Association in Scotland. She also carries out advisory work and has conducted training for a number of major plc boards on their Health and Safety responsibilities. She is regularly called upon to speak at conferences and events organised by IOSH, HSE and safety groups. She has written the chapter on Health and Safety legislation by Renton & Brown, the leading Scottish publication on Criminal Law. She is rated as a Star Individual by Chambers 2015 and The Legal 500 comments that she “has a huge depth of knowledge and is excellent at communicating her advice”.
