Xianjin is a Vice President at Two Sigma Investments, LP, where she serves as Product Manager for the Services Engineering team. In this role, she works with engineering teams to conceptualize, build and deliver large-scale service platforms and service management solutions, including Two Sigma’s Function-as-a-Service platform, Waiter. Prior to Two Sigma, Xianjin worked as a software developer in Microsoft’s Windows Wireless and Networking Services team. She was lead developer on the Windows Connection Manager and Network Data Usage Management features in Windows 8, and worked on the peer-to-peer distributed routing protocol in Windows 7. Xianjin earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, where she wrote her dissertation on Information Dissemination in Distributed Sensor Networks.
