Using ParaView for Scientific Visualization

October 21, 2016
9:00 am - 10:00 am
GRB 352 D-F

Track: Data Science
Type: Workshop
Level: Beginner/Intermediate

Increasing computing power has led to increasingly complex simulations in recent years. These simulations result in large quantities of data, which are no longer manageable without the help of tools. We will introduce visualization users and developers to ParaView, a visualization tool with parallelization support, and Cinema, a framework that enables users to explore extreme scale datasets. Download ParaView Version 5.1.2 from http://www.paraview.org/download/ prior to the start of the workshop.
