Conflict is never pleasant, but it can be constructive. Without challenges to ideas, communities and projects can stagnate, yet conflict can feel uncomfortable. But what if we embrace conflict and use it for good? This session outlines the types of conflict we encounter in open source communities (and beyond!), and explores techniques for using conflict as a positive force to move issues forward.
