Function as a Service (FaaS) is a way of implementing Microservices that focuses on short-lived functions. We discuss the use cases and design of a FaaS platform that spins up/tears down services rapidly in a resource constrained environment with unpredictable traffic loads. This platform helps us to scale services, optimize resource utilization and significantly reduce operational burden.
