The Conference will address a range of important issues and themes relating to ageing, aged care practice and research.
The Conference will address a range of important issues and themes relating to ageing, aged care practice and research.
Papers and presentations are invited representing the diverse range of disciplines in our sector, addressing the following themes:
- The rural and regional experience
- Current and future aged care reforms
- The health interface
- Research and practice
- The disability interface
- Technology
- Workforce
- Carers
- Choice and control
- Healthy ageing, wellness and reablement
- Emerging service and business models
- Social isolation, loneliness and connectedness
Proposals that extend beyond these thematic areas will also be considered.
Papers presenting a regional or rural perspective are particularly encouraged.
Submissions Format:
All submissions are to meet the following format and be submitted via email to: events@acs.asn.au
- All submissions must include full contact details, including name, organisation, position, phone, fax, postal address and email.
- An abstract of 250 words for a 15-20 minute oral presentation or workshop.
- A 100 words or fewer biography of the speaker(s) including references to any other relevant or recent conference presentations.
Submissions will close on Friday 16 October 2015
