National Forum to Address Impact of Violent Extremism in the Sports Industry

During the annual National Sports Safety and Security Conference, a National Forum titled What is the Effect of the Paris Incident on Sport Safety and Security will take place to provide conference attendees with an extensive review of the Paris attacks that occurred on November 13, 2015. The National Forum will be held on the last day of the conference, July 14, from 8:45 am – 12:00 pm.

The forum is hosted by NCS4, in conjunction with INTERPOL and the Department of Homeland Security and is sponsored by MSA Security, an industry leader in explosive detection and high consequence security services. The goal of this year’s National Forum is to examine and discuss the impact of violent extremism in the sports and special events industry.

  • Sport and Government Representatives including Jeff Miller, NFL's Chief Security Officer and the DHS Office of Bombing Prevention and others

Following the forum, attendees will have the opportunity to choose one of four workshops to dive deeper into relevant topics and hear from experts in the field.
