Eric Ahlgren, a Vice President in Bessemer’s Cambridge office, joined the firm in 2013. Eric focuses on investments in the “big data,” data-infrastructure, cloud computing /software, and consumer services sectors. At Bessemer, Eric is involved in the firm’s investments in Hadapt, Infinio Systems, OneCloud Labs and Xtime.

Prior to Bessemer, Eric worked for four years at Summit Partners, a $15 billion growth equity firm in Boston, where he focused on investments in the consumer and tech-enabled business services sectors. He also spent a year in Summit’s capital markets group, where he led debt financing transactions for portfolio companies and new investments, and helped launch Summit’s credit fund. Prior to Summit, Eric worked in structured finance at Bear Stearns in New York. Eric holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA in English from Colgate University.
