Alex Rosen is a Managing Director with IDG Ventures. He focuses on companies at the intersection of consumer and enterprise technologies, including SaaS, cloud, marketplaces, and ad tech. Alex serves on the boards at Expect Labs (enabler of voice-based digital assistants), Krux (data management platform), Minted (design-driven marketplace), Smartling (translation management SaaS), Vidible (video syndication platform), Vouch (social lending), and We Heart It (mobile social network). He also led IDG Ventures' investments in Fastly, Indiegogo, Watchguard, and Flowdock (RALY).

Previously, he was a General Partner at Sprout Group, where he was head of the Internet and Software group. He holds BS degrees in electrical engineering and economics from MIT and an MBA from Stanford University.
