Bio

Pablo Bonavía is an Information System Analyst.

He has 30 years of experience in the field of Information Technology, and has vast knowledge about telecommunications, information security and IT auditing.

Bonavía is CTO (Chief Technology Officer) at AFIP (Argentina’s Federal Administration of Public Revenue) since  2013.

He is in charge of a broad and diverse set of areas: Information Security, Telecommunications, IT Methodology and Information Architecture.

Before becoming AFIP’s CTO, he served as CSO (Chief Security Officer) at AFIP between 2009 and 2013, where he oversaw the integration between the Single Sign-On of AFIP’s Intranet and the IPM (Interface Public Members), further facilitating quick access for AFIP employees.

In previous roles at AFIP, he served as IT Audit Manager, and has obtained a certificate issued by the Information Security Audit® (CISA) ISACA in 1998.

He has participated in WCO IT Conference and Exhibition both in Kuala Lumpur and Buenos Aires.
