Donald Tan is a Technical Attaché at the Compliance & Facilitation Directorate at the World Customs Organization. Prior to joining the WCO, he worked in Singapore Customs and held various appointments including Senior Officer for Rule of Origin Compliance, Assistant Head of Planning and Deputy Head of Risk Management. His current work in the WCO includes Single Window Development, the WCO Data Model, Globally Networked Customs and Customs Coordinated Border Management. He is active in supporting the WCO Data Model Project Team and the WCO Information Management Sub-Committee, which deals with various topics relating to the application of information technology in Customs work.
