He has extensively worked with the WCO Globally Network Customs concept, WCO Data Model and related Standards to ensure that the Importer and Exporter World is tied to the Customs and OGA World, to streamlining the international supply chain and Customs requirements.

He was recently responsible for the conceptualisation and delivery of the very successful World Bank project to enable Customs to Customs (C2C) connectivity between The South African Revenue Services (SARS) and the Swaziland Revenue Authority (SRA). The project was successfully delivered in less than eighteen months and is currently fully operational between SARS and SRA. The project is currently being used as the benchmark project for Customs to Customs connectivity within the African continent and has received several accolades.

Anton will be presenting a Tech Talk Session on the Customs to Customs connectivity project between The South African Revenue Services (SARS) and the Swaziland Revenue Authority (SRA) as part of the Tech Talk Two Stream. He will be sharing the technology approach that was followed with the project as well as the goals, outcomes and successes achieved during the project.
