Mr. Rotchin is a founder of theQuotaExchange.com,
the world's first vendor neutral web-based marketplace for tariff preference
level quotas. During the past decade, he has contributed to the development of
domestic tariff policy in Canada; he has appeared as an expert witness before
several parliamentary committees including the Senate Banking, Trade and
Commerce Committee, the Commons International Trade Committee, and the Commons
Industry, Science & Technology Committee.
Mr. Rotchin is a member of the World
Bank's Global Facilitation Partnership for Transportation and Trade, and the
U.S. Customs and Border Protection Trade Support Network. He also sits on the
Board of the Sam Solomon Charitable Trust, an organization devoted to helping
disadvantaged children. He lives with Shari, his wife of 18 years and their
daughter Katie, in Westmount, Quebec.
