Subrenna Higgs is the IT Manager at the Customs Department.  Before that she was a Statistician at the Department of Statistics.  Mrs. Higgs is responsible for the day to day Information, Communication, and Technical operations of the Customs Department. This includes software development, user support, network installation and hardware maintenance.  Currently, she is the Team leader for the technical component of an IDB Project to modernize the Customs Department. The major portions of this component are the BPR and the procurement of system(s) to replace several critical in-house applications with a a modern application.  Also, included in this project is the implementation of a electronic trade single window.  

Mrs. Higgs has a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Florida.  She also has numerous IT and related certificates and she has attended various seminars and workshops, locally and internationally.
