Getting to the Gold Coast:
The Gold Coast Airport is located 26 km and approx 30 minutes south of the Mercure Resort. 

The Brisbane International & Domestic Airport is 80km and approx 1 hour 15 minute drive north of the Mercure Resort.

IMUN conference delegates will need to make their own way to the hotel.

IMUN will provide a complimentary coach transfer from the Mercure Resort to Gold Coast and Brisbane Domestic and International Airports, departing at 5.15pm sharp on Friday 11 September.  You can reserve a seat when you register or at the Information Desk on Thursday until 2.00pm.

Airport Shuttle

These are convenient options as they drop you right to the hotel.

The Gold Coast Airport shuttle service is approx AUD$21 each way and travel time is approx 45 minutes. It is not necessary to book prior to arriving at the airport as the shuttle meets all arriving flights.  Look for the Shuttle Information Desk in the Arrivals Hall.  If you prefer you can book your seat online at www.gcshuttle.com.au or call Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle on 1300 655 655.

The Brisbane Airport shuttle service is approx $49 each way and travel time is approx 1 hour 20 minutes.  Look for the Shuttle Information Desk in the Arrivals Hall or if you prefer you can pre-book your seat online at www.con-x-ion.com or by calling Con-X-ion on 1300 266 946.

Train (only available from Brisbane Airport):

At Brisbane Airport board the Airtrain which is located outside the Arrivals Hall at both the Domestic and International Airports. Travel to Nerang or Robina stations (approximately 1 hr 30 minutes). The fare is approx AUD$30 each way.

From the station you will need to take a taxi to the hotel. The cost of taxi fare is approx AUD$25.

Taxi

From the Gold Coast Airport the fare will be approx AUD$75 and travel time is approx 40 minutes.

From Brisbane Airport the fare will be approx AUD$230 and travel time is approx 1 hour 15 minutes.

Limousine Transfer

You may prefer to book a car to meet your flight.  In peak traffic times this may be cheaper than a taxi.  It is also a good option if travelling in a small group and with light luggage. 

A limousine from the Gold Coast Airport will be approx AUD$90 one way and travel time is approx 40 minutes.

A limousine from Brisbane Airport will be approx AUD$220 and travel time is approx 1 hour 15 minutes.
