Author and founder of ‘Ingenious Oz Project’ and ‘Game of Inches’ Nigel created his first business at the age of twenty, sold it at twenty-one and went on to build one of Australia largest entertainment design companies. In 2013, armed with a video camera, he set off to travel Australia, solo on his motorbike, to discover and share the stories of ingenious Australians. John Khoury has been ICT Manager for Pinnacle Bakery & Integrated Ingredients for just 18 months. Prior to this, John was the Zodiac Marine & Pool APAC regional IT Manager where he managed the delivery, change management and support of numerous M&A projects including the upgrade/integration of numerous regional and local ICT & ERP systems. John is an active IMUN member and always willing to share his experience and knowledge with others in the IMUN and ICT community. In this keynote, John will share his experiences on how to Disrupt and Destroy your tangled legacy system from within. The Pinnacle Bakery & Integrated Ingredients story is truly unique. Recently divested by the ex-global parent company (Kerry Ingredients) and purchased by Pacific Equity Partners in May 2015, PBll was challenged from the onset by the need be standalone and achieve "Project Autonomy" before the ex-parent company Transitional Services Agreement (TSA) concluded in May 2016. Nearly a year on, John shares his story, including the replacement of legacy 20+ year old system and overcoming many hidden and unknown hurdles through the new Infor M3 core ERP solution, project partnerships, and best in breed cloud solutions. John will discuss achievements of 20%+ labour efficiencies and share how this sped, flexibility and scalability continue on with the recent integration of three newly acquired businesses.e newly acquired businesses
