IT, outsourcing, IP and commercial matters. Her experience
includes large scale IT outsourcings; technology acquisitions; and,
assignment and licences of intellectual property rights.
 
Callum Sinclair
DLA Piper
Callum Sinclair has a broad range of experience in technology
and strategic sourcing matters, intellectual property, and
commercial contract work.

His clients include central and local government buyers,
international banks and blue chip ICT suppliers. His time on
secondment as a senior in-house legal resource inside a major
FS organisation coupled with extensive negotiations with (and
acting for) ICT suppliers over the years gives him an excellent
insight into both customer and supply side of some of the
largest technology deals in the UK. Recent examples include a
£900m outsource of the group document solutions function of
an international bank, and the recent flagship £264m Step Change NGA Broadband Project for the
Scottish Government (the largest broadband procurement in the UK to date).

In the past few years alone, Callum has provided pro-active legal and commercial solutions in a lead
advisor role to, amongst others: the world’s largest arts festival; Scotland’s fastest growing company;
the UK’s leading cider and beer business; 3 of Scotland’s largest banks; the Scottish Government
Digital Directorate; one of the world’s leading international testing companies; the Scottish Premiership
football defending champions and Northern Ireland’s 3 biggest utilities.
