Activity Objectives & CME Credit Information

Activity Objectives 
  • Identify patients appropriate for home modality and develop strategies to mitigate any barriers identified (All attendees).
  • Recognize catheter malfunction issues and make appropriate and timely referrals (PD Nurses, Renal Case Managers, Surgeons, Nephrologists, and Interventional Radiologists).
  • Describe the clinical benefits of peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis to patients resulting in increased utilization of the therapies (Nephrologists and Renal Case Managers).

CME Credit 
TPMG Physician Education and Development is accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Completion of the post-activity online survey will enable you to print your CME certificates of attendance. The survey link will be provided to attendees post conference.

Nurses/CEU Credit
Nurses may report up to 5.0 hours AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s) TM  towards the continuing medical education requirements for license renewal by the California Board of Registered Nurses.

Certificate of attendance will be available on the TPMG Physician Education and Development website after completion of the post-activity online survey. It will be up to individual attendees to report applicable hours of attendance to their respective boards. TPMG Physician Education and Development is not a BRN provider. However, you may report your hours for this course by indicating "CME" on your license renewal application (in the space where BRN Number is requested).
