FT-Aberdeen Asset Management Series:
Home and Away
Why a Global Investment Approach Makes Sense
Dallas | Miami | Chicago
The past year has seen a slow but steady resurgence in several key developed nations, with growth expected to continue in 2014. Meanwhile some emerging economies have retreated over the recent period suggesting that now might be the right time to rebalance portfolios. Yet, there still remains plenty of opportunity in the global economy. Growth rates in parts of Africa are as high as thirty percent, and China, despite some slow-down is still experiencing record growth. With a steady recovery in the developed world and strong growth in some emerging markets, the right balance is not obvious.
The Financial Times, in partnership with Aberdeen Asset Management, have gathered a range of investment professionals to help identify and evaluate opportunities at home and abroad.
Delegates will hear about a variety of asset classes and risk management strategies to consider while learning the pros and cons of the global economy’s most promising opportunities.
Financial professionals interested in learning about investing abroad should contact Melissa Papasidero by phone at +1 917-551-5106 or email melissa.papasidero@ft.com
Both CFP and IMCA have accepted this event for 2 hours of CE credit towards the CIMA®, CIMC® and CPWA® certifications.
