Overview

The Functional Skills Special Interest Group is one of the most popular of AELP’s exclusive Member Events.

In addition to supporting members with Functional Skills the Group also focuses on issues related to the delivery of GCSE English and maths and the English and maths progression units and qualifications.

The meetings will give providers an opportunity to:

• Discuss solutions to the challenges of delivering Functional Skills and GCSE English and maths
• Share best practice with colleagues working across different sectors
• Find out about the range of support services available
• Receive updates on issues related to government policy including funding

The Special Interest Group is Chaired by Roger Francis, Director at Creative Learning Partners who are Members of AELP.

Unable to Attend?

This event is complimentary to attend for AELP Members. If you are unable to attend after initial registration please contact the AELP SIG & Sector Forum Administrator by email only at memberevents@aelp.org.uk to enable this place to be offered to another AELP Member. Alternatively, AELP is happy to accept a substitute from the same organisation. Please ensure you advise us of the replacement delegate name in advance of the event.

Failure to inform AELP at least 48 hours before an event by email only of non-attendance will result in an automatic £25.00 + VAT cancellation fee to cover costs.
