Check out the August 22nd Communication Bulletin for details!

Registration
• 16 team spots will be available in the 2017 tournament.
• One team member must sign up the team during the three business day lottery registration.
• Spots will be distributed via a lottery if more than 16 teams sign up to participate by the cut-off time.
• Team captains will be notified of the results following the lottery and will have one week to finalize their team and confirm their spot, otherwise it will be offered to the next team on the list.
• There will be one free agent team for individuals and the 2016 champions will receive an automatic spot.General Play
• All games will have an umpire
• Games will be 25 minutes long
• Coin flip to determine 1st up
• All teams must be co-ed
• 10 team members can play in the field (must be at least 40% women – i.e. 4 women, 6 men) Additional players may serve as base coaches.
• 12 team members can kick (must be at least 40% women – i.e. 12 players = 5 women, 7 men)
• You must have at least eight players to start a game. If you have less than eight, you can quickly recruit or your game will be considered a forfeit.
• 3 outs – catch a ball in air, throw to base ahead of runner or hit runner (below shoulders)
• You can throw the ball at a player to get them out but ball must be below shoulders otherwise runner is safe. Ducking and then getting hit in head will not constitute a “head shot”
• No cleats (if a player wears cleats, they will not be able to play until they change shoes.)
Pitching
• Must be done by hand and not bounce too high. Pitchers can use different styles if they wish
• The pitcher must start the act of pitching with at least one foot within the pitching mound
• The pitcher must have at least one foot on or directly behind the pitching strip when releasing the ball
• No part of the pitcher’s front foot may be in front of or across the front edge of the pitching strip
Catching
• Must be behind home plate and kicker and not interfere with kicker.
Kicking
• Any contact with ball and lower leg is considered a kick. Kicks must occur on or behind home plate. Referee can use judgment.
• 3 strikes or 4 fouls is considered an out. Fouls are not strikes.
• 4 balls is a walk
• Foul balls – Start with a 1 and 1 count, you can kick a total of 3 foul balls before an out is called
Running
• Must stay in the baselines (home – 1st or 3rd – home). Outside the line (judgment call) is “OUT”.
• No lead offs and no stealing
• Runners can choose a natural arc between bases (1st – 2nd and 2nd – 3rd).
• Runners can change path to avoid a fielder making a play. When avoiding a tag runners can’t go more than 4’ out of baseline.
• A runner may advance only one base if ball goes out of play. This is not an automatic base, if the fielding team can make a play on the runner he/she can be called out.
• Running past another runner is not allowed and passing runner will be called out.
• Play is over when ball is back with pitcher - all base running must cease.
Game Time Breaker
• If the game is tied after 25 minutes, a kick-off will break the tie. One player from each team will kick the ball, pitched by the opposing team’s pitcher or designated pitcher. The winner will be determined by which ball lands further when kicked in the air.
Any questions/conflicts will be resolved by the umpire and event team – and decisions are final.
