  • Cancellation Policy for PRE- and POST-CONFERENCE HOMESTAYS: Between June 1 and July 18, 2017, there will be a £25 cancellation fee per person. No refunds can be made after July 18, 2017. 
  • Cancellation Policy for PRE- and POST-CONFERENCE TOURS: Between May 18 and June 18, there is a cancellation fee of 15% of the tour cost. Between June 18 and July 18, the cancellation fee is 30% of the tour cost. No refunds can be made after July 18, 2017.
  • A minimum of 15 participants is required for each tour. Tours not reaching this number may be cancelled, in which case an alternative will be offered or a full refund will be provided. You will be notified of any tour cancellation as soon as it is known, but certainly no later than 90 days prior to its start date.

Following Shakespeare: London and Stratford-Upon-Avon

This tour is a real treat for theater-lovers and historians!

Beginning with a pub dinner and an inside look at some of London's prominent and most historical theaters, you'll then see the sights in Shakespeare's beautiful Stratford-Upon-Avon. Your last full day allows for free exploration of London and it's many free museums and galleries, or markets and parks.

Your coach brings you up to Manchester directly to the Midland Hotel for the start of the World Conference.

Price is based on a group minimum of 15 people. There will be a price reduction and refund if more than 30 people sign up.


Rambling in England's Peak District

Dates: August 28 - September 1, 2017 (Post-conference)
Duration: 4 nights (begins and ends in Manchester - see Full Itinerary)
Price: £475 per person, regardless if in a twin or single room
A dramatic landscape of towering hills, unique limestone crags, wild moorland, sheltered woodlands, and ancient stone villages set into velvety valleys... the Peak District covers 1,438 sq km in the center of England.

Each day there are two different walking tracks to choose from. The "Take It Easy" track is for people wanting a gentler rambling experience with fewer inclines, shorter walks, and some distractions along the way such as tea-rooms and country pubs even returning to the . The "Let's Go!" track is for keen ramblers who prefer a full day walk and a few moderate ascents/descents in the heart of the Peak District.

Although you'll select a track when registering, this tour is flexible: each evening guides will outline plans for the next day and if anyone wants to change to a different track, join-up arrangements will be made.

Price is based a group minimum of 20 people. There will be a slight price increase if less than 20 people sign up, but a refund for more than 30


Highlights of Scandinavia

Experience the highlights of Scandinavia with local specialists during a six night adventure to Oslo, Gothenburg, and Copenhagen.

We begin this tour in Norway's capital city, Oslo, and will include visits to Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum and Kon-Tiki Museum. We'll cruise the canals of Gothenburg, Sweden, ending in Stockholm, whose activities will include the famous Tivoli Gardens and the breathtaking Christiansborg Palace.

A Walk with Swiss Friends - SOLD OUT!

This exciting program provides an opportunity to explore a largely unknown region of Switzerland on foot! You'll walk 3-4 hours every day across forests, along rivers, in the Jura hills and in small towns or villages. This is not the touristic program in the Alps of Switzerland (which you could always add individually before or after the Journey).

The tour is organized and led by the FF club of Solothurn, the only FF club in Switzerland. You will stay in a sports hotel near Solothurn, but you will have plenty of daily contact with members of the club.
