The Audit Commission is hosting the 7th Congress of Eurorai – the representative body of European Regional Audit Institutions – in London on 4 October 2010. This prestigious event will be held at the QEII Conference Centre, with a conference dinner to be held at Banqueting House.

Eurorai was set up to foster cooperation and links between regional audit agencies, and the congress will be attended by senior practicing auditors from across Europe. Further details about the membership and activities of Eurorai can be found at its website at www.eurorai.org.

The theme for the Congress will be meeting the challenge of economic change from the perspective of the public sector auditor in Europe. We will be inviting speakers from a number of Regional Audit Institutions to contribute to this debate on a range of issues including value for money audit and visions for the future.
