The Energy State of the Nation 2014

The annual energy industry event for young ambitious energy leaders

The [Young] Energy State of the Nation event this year will be a late afternoon seminar followed by dinner. This event is for young professionals to provide input on a future energy vision for Australia. The seminar will commence at 4pm with an overview by the Executive Director of the Energy Policy Institute. An invited speaker on power generation will then follow. This speaker will then facilitate a discussion session until 6.30pm. The informal dinner will then provide valuable time to network and share further ideas.

Delegates will be challenged to develop three questions for debate at the energy industry event, Energy State of the Nation (ESON), to be held on the Friday 21 March at the Pullman Sydney Hyde Park hotel.

The significance of ESON is that it will follow soon after the closing of submissions on the government’s Energy White Paper process.

Registration is by application only and is limited to 20 young professionals (under 30 years of age). Half the delegates will be invited from government and half from the private sector. Registration cost is $395.00 which includes the Thursday 20th seminar (4.00-6.30pm) followed by dinner, then entry to the ESON forum on Friday 21st.
