EQUIP women is about faithful Bible teaching by women for women. Our aim is to equip you for life by careful and thoughtful study of God's Word. All women, whether Christian or not, are very welcome. Heaven is waiting... Fifty years ago, my mother boarded a ship in Singapore that was headed for her new home, Sydney. During the voyage, she practiced her English and looked forward to her new life in Australia while eagerly waiting for her ship to dock. In this last chapter of 2 Peter, we will discover that like my mum, Christians are on a voyage to our new home, heaven. In our heads, we know that heaven is waiting. Yet for many of us, as we go about our daily lives, heaven rarely intrudes our thoughts or guides our decisions. At EQUIP12, we'll learn what it means to wait for heaven and we'll explore what the Bible teaches us about our new home. | |
